“L” is for learning.

We have dates for our introductory leather tooling class. We plan for 2 day-long sessions. The first is the basic introduction to tooling, and the second covers questions from your initial efforts, then finishing, and construction of practical objects. First class Saturday, August 17 10AM to 5PM, followed 3 three weeks later by the second session on Saturday, September 7, also 10 AM to 5 PM

Sessions will be held at the Duvall Visitor Center, 15619 Main St. NE, Duvall, WA 98019.

Seats are still available. We have room for 8 students, and we’ll supply tools, leather and materials. The cost is $150 per student, and covers both sessions. You will leave with a nice handout and a good start at tooling. The three week interval is intended to allow time for working with the medium, and forming good questions.

Reservations will be counted by date and time of your email response, should we fill all 8 spots, and confirmed by payment. I will maintain a wait-list as needed. You can send money by Zelle to my phone number: 206-713-6692, or use PayPal to send money to my email address: genedwig@mac.com, or let me know how you are comfortable paying.

A quick survey of Airbnb found some nice options for overnight lodging in the Duvall area. You’ll find plenty of options for meals within walking distance.
